All we seem to hear any more is both of the so-called major political parties yelling and screaming and calling each other names. They both claim that all of the problems we see in today’s world are the fault of the other party and that they alone have the solution for everything. They all have their own theologies and teachings. They all want you to join their party and get others to join in. They will do and say anything to get more and more members. All of the political parties have shown that they cannot be trusted with anything they say, especially when they have members that are holding public office. All are equally guilty of being self-centered and self-serving. All are guilty of violating their own core beliefs and teachings and either looking the other way or slapping someone on the wrist when it comes to the public’s attention of problems in these parties. Sounds a lot like some cults we know.
As for having the solution, history and the mess in the world today clearly demonstrates that they don’t have a clue as to what is going on or how to fix it. As for blaming the other one, they are all just as equally guilty as the other one for the problems we are now facing. They can’t take all the blame. Many people in this country and other countries around the world must also share in the blame. You see, the real problem is caused from the rejection of God and His Word. When anyone turns against God’s Word, problems will always follow. The political parties cannot be trusted. Both are equally guilty of being self-centered and self-serving. Both are guilty of ignoring God’s Word and pursuing their own wants and desires. Even though one of the major political parties claims to be conservative, their actions and practices show that is not the case. If anything they are the party of compromise. They compromise on one thing after the other after the other. They will tell you that the only way to get anything done is by compromise. This is another part of their theology. If you truly believe in something then you don’t compromise. You stick to your guns and DO NOT compromise or give in no matter what. The Bible makes this point very clear:
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
Psalm 119:1-4
Now for those of you who don’t quite grasp the meaning of this passage from the book of Psalm in the King James Version of the Bible, here is the same verse from the New Living Translation of the Bible:
Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the LORD. Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths. You have charged us to keep your commandments carefully.
There it is in God’s own Words, we are to be a people of integrity and we DO NOT compromise with evil. In other words, NO COMPROMISE!
Many of their members will say that if you don’t like what is going on within their particular party then you should join it and change it from within. Well first off, why would someone want to join something that is full of hypocrites and liars? Why would someone want to join something that is part of the problem? And you cannot change or fix something that does not want to change or be fixed! This is just part of their theology to get you to join and become involved with them. Sounds like another cult tactic to recruit you.
Have you noticed how the political parties just love to quote the Bible, but only when it suits them? They will use carefully selected pieces of Scripture and use them to try to feebly back up what they are saying, and will in almost all cases take the Scripture out of context and twist its meaning or ignore what is really being said if you used the whole verses or the verses around it. They will often quote you Mark 12:17, which says:
And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.
They will explain to you that this means that you must be part of what is going on in politics and take part in supporting a party or its candidate and that you must be out there actively being part of a political cause. How arrogant and naive can they be? This verse has nothing to do with them or what their cause is. It merely tells us that we are to obey the laws as long as they DO NOT come into conflict with the teachings of God. For example, if you want to drive a car you get a driver’s license. If you want to open a church or non-profit organization then you get the necessary permits and licenses to do so. This is just part of their theology to twist Scripture to suit their needs and confuse you and get you to become part of what they are doing. Sounds like yet another cult tactic.
Now, I am not saying that you should vote for a cause you believe in or for a political candidate. Please do so. Don’t vote for someone just because a political party told you to. Do not listen to what the media or anyone else says. Vote for the candidate of your choice. Do not listen to the political parties lie that if you vote for someone other than their candidate or for a third party of someone running independently , that you are throwing your vote away. Voting by the dictates for you own conscious is NOT a vote thrown away. This is just another theological teaching of the political parties. Wow they certainly do use a lot of the same tactics that the cults use. The only vote that is ever thrown away is one that is not cast. So get out there and be sure to vote. But as a true Christian we must vote for that which is Godly and follows the teachings of the Bible. When we go to vote for an individual we must ask ourselves, “Does this person hold onto Biblical values and teachings of follows the ways of the world?”
You cannot trust the political parties. You cannot trust anyone who says they have all the answers and solutions to the world’s problems. We must TRUST in Jesus Christ and do the Will of God. The political parties are making things worse. What we need to do is go out there in this dark and evil world is not do what the ways of the world wants, but to do what God wants us to go. Gout out there. Set and example. Share the Gospel and what it really says to those who are lots before it’s too late for them.
Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Matthew 6:31-34
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Romans 12:2
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
